Earlier this year QLX Lighting were delighted to supply Catapult Events with event lighting for a private event in The Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

A large clear span marquee was placed in the centre of the court yard of RHK where guests enjoying dinner and a awards show. Working closely with Catapult we designed a lighting package that proved to be impressive.

Sandy Robertson led the QLX team and used a ChamSys MQ 200 to control the Marquee and court yard lighting.

In the marquee we supplied

  • Stage lighting including ETC source 4, Martin Stage Bars, Chauvet Q Wash 560z
  • Marquee lighting including LED uplighters and pin spot to highlight each table

Around the courtyard we supplied

  • 30 x LED uplighters
  • 4 x Novalight High Grounds
  • 12 x Elation Platinum Beam 5R Extreme
  • 4 x Studio Due City Colour
  • 3 x Clay Paky Alpha Profiles

We supplied 30+ LED uplighters to add atmospheric lighting to the Great Hall and Chapel.

Lighting supplied for live entertainment in the Chapel also included

  • 6 x JTE Patt 2013 Softlight
  • 4 x Elation Rayzor Q7
  • 4 x Clay Paky Alpha Spot 700
  • Source 4 zooms, strobes, truss, stands Lighting Console
