QLX Lighting were delighted to be a part of a console awareness day organised by the Gaiety Theatre last Wednesday.

Using our normal ChamSys training set up of 4 consoles connected to a visualizer on a 60 inch  plasma screen. This set up means trainees get hands on experience of the desk while also seeing what they are doing.

Sandy and Dan from QLX were on hand to help theatre professionals and students find their way around the desks which included

  • ChamSys MQ 100
  • ChamSys MQ 60

We also brought in some our moving light fixtures including

  • Clay Paky Alpha Profile 1500
  • Clay Paky Alpha Spot 700
  • Elation Platinum Beam 5R Extreme
  • Novalight High Ground
